Most fryers seem to be 30qt. and recommend a 12-14 lb. turkey. That wasn't going to work for out Thanksgiving. Cooked a 20lb. bird just like advertised and had room to spare. Probably could have done a 24-26lb turkey. First timer. Also, although probably the nature of frying, this thing basically cleaned up like new afterwards.

Place all the ingredients (except for pie shell) in a sauce pan and bring to boil and cook uncovered for 20 minutes over medium heat. Cool the meat mixture and pour in pastry lined pan.
